'It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.' ~ Albert Einstein
Let’s get ‘resource full’!
If you’re a teacher planning your classroom program, how would you feel about tried and tested, teacher-created resources that not only motivate and encourage students to read, learn, and sing but also:
• target learning sequences of curriculum documents
• Introduce new units of work
• Kick start class discussion
• Summarise & reinforce curriculum learning content
• Aid recall of important information
• Extend literacy
• Reinforce positive behaviours
• Solve the problem of what to do for school assembly items, and more?
Well, there are teaching resources that achieve all of these outcomes and more ~ through curriculum-aligned songs!
My colleague (Kathryn Radloff) and I write songs & lesson materials that enhance, integrate and support classroom learning across key curriculum areas, including:
• Literacy
• Social Studies
• Science and Technology
• Society and Environment
• Creative & Performance Arts
• Health and Physical Development…
We currently have over 100, song-based, curriculum-aligned publications (downloadable as well as hard copy) to support classroom learning ~ there's even Curriculum KaraokeTM. They are born of a firm and passionate belief in the power of song for helping children learn.
You can assess the quality of our work with a free, downloadable lyric sheet from our TPT store. While there, you will find full product details, song lyric samples, links to audio song samples, blog posts, etc.
